Lucy Paynter is a real-time graphic artist and developer specializing in VizRT motion graphics. She has 15 years of broadcast experience beginning with the PBS affiliated WTIU at Indiana University and has held nearly every studio and control room position that exists.
As a real-time artist, she has worked on such projects as the 2012 NBC Democracy Plaza augmented displays and the Today Show Concert Series. She has also created countless self-serve and data-driven packages across many shows for MSNBC. Currently, as the real-time art director for Vice News Tonight on HBO, she is responsible for the constantly evolving on-air workflow of a very different kind of daily news program.
She lives in Brooklyn with her fella and her pooch.
