Hearst Television, Chief Strategy Officer

Roger Keating is the chief strategy and business development officer at Hearst Television, the operator of television and radio stations in 26 markets.

Since joining Hearst in 2008 as SVP of digital media, Keating has led the digital media business for Hearst and has been instrumental in establishing a number of cross-industry initiatives such as the Dyle mobile television alliance, the local video-news aggregator NewsON, and the Pearl Consortium’s advanced television advertising initiatives.

Prior to arriving at Hearst, Keating ran a number of regional businesses at Time Warner Cable, led AOL’s health and travel verticals, founded the venture-backed online video news site Zatso, and launched the high-speed broadband business at Comcast.

Keating holds an engineering degree from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from Stanford University.
